Welcome IWPI-2012

Any chemical engineering development that leads to a substantially smaller, cleaner, safer and more energy efficient technology is process intensification (PI). As global warming and sustainable development become hot issues, the concept and practice of PI become more and more important. So it is timely to gather people working on PI in one place to communicate the ideas and to share experiences regarding PI. IWPI has been open biennially since 2002 in Japan. In 2012, the workshop will be held in Korea to promote the theme of PI more internationally. IWPI2012 is open to all of you.
